Responsibilities
The Facilities Division is responsible for the maintenance of all the Town’s buildings and public spaces.
We have four custodians who ensure the care of 31 town buildings, including all public restrooms. We clean restrooms an average of 400 times per month in the parks alone. Our two maintenance technicians perform minor and major repairs to our 11 buildings throughout Town.
Trees are very important to Southern Pines
Southern Pines is an Arbor Day Foundation recognized Tree City USA since 1980, making our community one of the longest running award recipient communities in North Carolina.
