[ARCHIVED] Important Changes Coming July 1 for Garbage & Recycling

Trash Changes News Flash

Beginning on Monday, July 3, 2023, both garbage cans and recycling bins must be placed at the curb for collection. If you have a medical condition or physical restriction and do not live with someone who can bring your trash and recycling to the curb, we can approve a medical exemption and collect your garbage and recycling near your home.

The curbside collection exemption applies to garbage and recycling only. Yard debris, bulky items, and white goods must be placed at the curb for collection. This service is provided at no additional charge to the resident.

Learn more about these changes and what you can expect on July 1. By working together, we can improve safety for our haulers and the efficiency of our services by collecting everything curbside.
