PARK HOURS
- Parks, in general, are open Dawn until Dusk daily, year-round.
- Lighted Basketball, Tennis, Pickleball, and Racquetball Courts are available dawn until 11pm
- Lighted Sport Fields can be used from dawn until 11pm (when available)

Dogs must be on a leash and under the control of their owner in all parks, trails, and open spaces. (Town Ordinance 99-12)

BOATING
Reservoir Park Lake is open to any type of sail, paddle or electric motor boats, canoes, kayaks, sail or stand-up paddleboard. There is a boat and kayak dock as well as a boat ramp available. Use of gas engines is not allowed.
FISHING
Reservoir Park is a public body of water. All NC Wildlife rules apply. A fishing license is required as per the NC Wildlife requirements. License rules, purchase and more information available at NC Wildlife.
- Youth under age 16 are exempt from the requirement of any fishing license.
- July 4th is declared “Free Fishing Day,” and a fishing license is not required in any public waters, including Coastal and trout waters, on this date.
- Residents with a valid Unified Subsistence Inland/Coastal Recreational Fishing License Waiver are exempt from the requirement of a inland and coastal recreational fishing license.
