The League of Women Voters of Moore County and Southern Pines Public Library will host the State Archives of North Carolina exhibit, “An Absolute Moral Certainty”: The Woman Suffrage Movement in North Carolina” on Wed. Jan. 29. The exhibit includes the original copy of the Nineteenth Amendment, usually housed in the vault, that was sent to North Carolina for ratification in June of 1919. The display will be held in the library’s multipurpose room from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
