Winter Reading Challenge

Cat snuggled on chair next to stack of books

It's time to snuggle down, pick up a couple of good books, and join the library for the 1st Annual Winter Reading Challenge. Winter readers know reading can get them through the coldest and least active parts of the year. Between December 15th and January 31st, you'll be able to log your books using Beanstack (the same tracking app used during the Summer Reading Program). All ages can participate—register to receive a welcome swag bag!

Participants will be entered into the Winter Prize Drawing held on February 2nd. Prize packages include:

  • Adults: Southern Pines Gift Basket
  • Teens: Movie Gift Basket
  • Children & Preschool: Winter Toys Basket

Be on the lookout for our pop-up Cozy Reading Room - it'll be taking over the multipurpose room in the library throughout the challenge!
