The Ice House Entrepreneurship Program is coming to the Southern Pines Public Library! Provided by a grant from the NC IDEA Foundation, this program is designed to inspire and engage participants in the fundamental aspects of an entrepreneurial mindset and the unlimited opportunities it can provide. Anyone who is interested in developing the skills needed to thrive in the existing workforce, to become a business owner, to excel in higher education studies, or to improve their overall quality of life should register. An interest session overviewing the program will be held on October 13 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Library. Registration forms submitted online or in-person will be sent to the Ice House coordinator, Mary Howard. Participants will be sent further information via email once applications are processed.
In addition to the Ice House Entrepreneurship Program, the Library has created the Entrepreneurial Learning Center to help foster entrepreneurship in our community. This website provides information on resources for entrepreneurship and small business owners. The Center will develop further over the next several months as the Library expands their network of resources.
