Book clubs allow you to meet new people and engage meaningfully with stories. The Southern Pines Public Library currently holds three book clubs a month for the community:
Douglass Center Book Club: For Adults. Meets the third Thursday of the month from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Douglass Community Center.
Read Between the Pines: For Adults. Meets the second Thursday of the month from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Town's new Fire Station.
Lit Wits Book Club: For Young Adults (ages 11 to 15). Meets the third Tuesday of the month from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Southern Pines Public Library.
Dates and times are subject to change occasionally. View our Calendar to plan out your visit!
Not able to make a Library sponsored book club? No problem! Make your own book club using the Library's popular book club kits. Adult kits contain 10 copies of a book with discussion questions, while junior kits contain 6 copies of a book. Kits are available to borrow for six weeks to one Southern Pines Public Library card member. View the Library's listing of book club kits available for checkout.
