Public Notice
The Town Council of the Town of Southern Pines that, having considered the apparent advantages to the Town and its citizens in doing so, hereby declares its intent to vacate W. Vermont Avenue as described below and to hold a public hearing upon such action. There shall be a public hearing on the 10th day of November, 2015, to address the issues of whether vacating that street will be detrimental to the public interest or will be detrimental to anyone’s ability to have ingress or egress from that person’s property.
The street to be vacated is W. Vermont Avenue, lying between N. Hale Street and N. Mechanic
Street in the Town of Southern Pines.
The public hearing which is hereby called shall be held at the Douglass Community Center,
1185 West Pennsylvania Avenue, Southern Pines, on November 10, 2015, at 7:00 p.m.
