Mark your calendars, Southern Pines! November 7th is a municipal election for our community. You will have the opportunity to cast your vote for two Councilmembers and a new Mayor. Your vote matters, and here's what you need to know:

EARLY VOTING: Early voting starts on Thursday, October 19 and is available Monday through Friday from 8am to 7pm. Early voting is also available on two Saturdays from 8am-3pm: October 28 and November 4. The final day for early voting is November 4. All early voting takes place at the Moore County Ag Center, located at 707 Pinehurst Ave. in Carthage.
ELECTION DAY - NOVEMBER 7: On Election Day, November 7th, all polling places will be open from 6:30 am to 7:30 pm. Polling locations are listed online or can be confirmed by calling 910-947-3868.
PHOTO ID REQUIRED: A photo ID is now required to vote in North Carolina, so don't forget to bring yours when you head to the polls.
