Notice is hereby given that a Public Meeting will be held before the Town of Southern Pines Town Council at the Town of Southern Pines Police Department Community Room, 450 West Pennsylvania Avenue, on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at 7:00 PM, for the purpose of giving all interested citizens and property owners an opportunity to speak with respect to the proposed Final Plat request described as follows:
Final Plat Approval for CU-05-14; Conditional Use Permit for Major Subdivision for Single Family Homes along Duncan Road and E. Manley Avenue; Petitioner, Moore HL Properties, LLC
The petitioner Moore HL Properties, LLC is requesting the approval of the Final Plat for Conditional Use Permit (CU-05-14). In the application for CU-05-14 the Town Council approved a Major Subdivision for sixty (60) single family homes along Duncan Rd. and E. Manley Ave. The plat submitted is the final plat for Phase 1, for nineteen (19) single family homes. Per Section 2.20 Major Subdivisions of the Unified Development Ordinance any subdivision of land creating greater than five (5) lots requires a Conditional Use Permit (CUP). The subject property is a group of existing parcels consisting of 13.71 acres along Duncan Road, E. Manley Avenue, and Petty Street.
