Enjoy the Party for the Oldest Known Living Longleaf Pine and Build Your Own Birdhouse with Southern Pines Recreation & Parks Birds in the Sandhills. Birdhouses are co-sponsored with Weymouth Woods & Lowe's Home Improvement. Learn about native birds, their habitat, and how to attract them to your back yard. Wear your hiking shoes and bring binoculars to enjoy hiking. Build your birdhouse anytime between 10 am and 3 pm Free! (while supplies last) Children must be accompanied by an adult. Bring a hammer or battery operated screwdriver. No pre-registration required.
