The Southern Pines Public Library is a municipal library serving the citizens of the Town of Southern Pines. Residents outside of Town limits may purchase a card to access collections and programs offered by the library.

We, the Southern Pines Public Library, are dedicated to opening avenues of discovery. Working with and for our community, we add value to the lives of all generations through dynamic programming, services, and resources found within the Library's physical and digital spaces.

Services
The library offers fiction, non-fiction, magazines, videos, and newspapers in print and digital formats in addition to large print materials, audio books, DVDs, and compact discs. Internet access is available to valid card holders. Trained staff guide patrons in locating and using all materials and resources. Adult, young adult, school-aged, and early literacy programs are offered to patrons and community members throughout the year.
Supporting Early Literacy and Education
The Southern Pines Public Library is a partner in Growing Moore Readers, our local initiative in the Campaign for Grade Level Reading.
