Non-Residents
NON-RESIDENT MEMBERSHIPS are now available. The purchase of a non-resident membership allows all immediate family members residing in your home to pay resident rates for programs and activities. The non-resident membership is good for one year and costs $60.
Volunteer!
As a way to say thank you to our VOLUNTEERS who provide at least 20 hours of service on an annual basis, we are offering $20 WORTH OF FREE PROGRAMMING. To obtain all of the details, call the department at 692-2463.

Mission
The mission of the Southern Pines Recreation and Parks Division is to provide high quality park and recreation facilities and services which will provide leisure opportunities for all citizens of Southern Pines. Benefits derived from the services include, but are not limited to:

Registration Information
Registration for any program is open to area residents. Pre-registration is required. Registration is on a first paid basis and may be done in person at the recreation offices or through the mail. Make checks payable to Southern Pines Recreation. Once registered, no further communication from the recreation office will be sent, unless the program site, time, or day are not printed or are changed. The right is reserved to cancel any class, event, or activity. Class fees are listed $ r (cost for resident) /$ nr (cost for nonresident), followed by min./max. participants.

Indigent Youth Policy
No Southern Pines resident child will be denied participation due to financial hardship.
Building and Grounds
The Building and Grounds Division is located within the Recreation and Parks Department offices. This division is responsible for the maintenance of Town owned buildings and for the turf and tree maintenance on parkways, greenways, trails, right-of-ways, cemetery, and park sites.
