Southern Pines Police Department Announces National Night Out and Classic Car Show Tuesday, August 2, 2011, 7-10 p.m. with Classic/Unique Car show and free community cookout.  Residents are invited to join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for the "28th Annual National Night Out" crime and drug prevention event.  National Night Out will involve over 15,000 communities from all 50 states, several US territories, Canadian cities, and military bases around the world.  In all, over 37 million people are expected to participate in this "America's Night Out Against Crime."   Contact Bob Temme, Community Services Coordinator, at 910-692-2732 or e-mail temme@southernpines.net to register your vehicle at no cost.
