Teen Advisory Board (TAB) - Now Accepting Applications

Southern Pines Public Library is now accepting applications for its Teen Advisory Board (TAB). Students in grades 9-12 who would like to plan and promote teen activities at the library, log volunteer hours, develop leadership and teamwork skills, meet guys/girls from other schools, and eat pizza are encouraged to apply! It’s fun, and it’s a great way to make those college applications shine!
Last year TAB held a Vampire Party and an Ugly Holiday Sweater party, sponsored a “Peeps” Diorama competition, and hosted an Open Mic Night. Members also assisted with library programs for children.
TAB applications are available online or at the library.
TAB’s first meeting of the school year will be held on Wednesday, September 9th at 5:30pm. If you can’t attend but are still interested in joining, please contact Alice Thomas (thomas@sppl.net; 910-692-8235 x228).
