Historic District National Register Survey

There will be a meeting in the Douglass Community Center, 1185 West Pennsylvania Avenue, Southern Pines, on Monday, October 12, 2009 at 6:00 PM. The survey of all the National Registry properties which started in March 2009 has been completed. Mary Ruffin Hanbury of Hanbury Preservation Consulting was the consultant for this project. Ms. Hanbury will be giving a presentation to all interested property owners and citizens on the results of the survey at this meeting. There will be an opportunity to speak with the consultant and Town Staff regarding any questions on the survey after the presentation.
