Wednesday, June 25 @ 11:00am: Summer Reading Kickoff:
Brightstar Children’s Theater presented “Sadie's Spectacular Saturday" (PDF). Sadie the caterpillar turned over a new leaf at a brand new school. We watched as she learned a lesson about friendship with the help of a ladybug, a cockroach, and a sunflower.

Tuesday, July 8 @ 11:00am: Bug Safari!
Did you hear the buzz? We had a Bug Safari (PDF)! The library was the place to be for lots of buggy facts and fun.

Tuesday, July 22 @ 11:00pm: Alberti Flea Circus!
The Alberti Flea Circus (PDF) came to the library! We saw Harry the Hurdler jump three hurdles! We were thrilled as Captain Spaulding is shot from a cannon! We marveled as the darling Dardenell does a high dive into a can of water! Uh...did we mention that these were fleas?

The Good, the Bad, and the Bug-ly! (PDF) Many young patrons celebrated their reading adventure with crafts, fun and stories.
