What does "r/nr" mean when it is listed under a program?
The "r" stands for Southern Pines resident, referring to someone who resides (or owns property) within the town limits. "Nr" means nonresident, or someone who lives outside of the town limits. Most of our programs are available to both residents and nonresidents, but nonresidents are subject to a higher participation fee (because they do not pay town taxes).
