    Come join us for family fun at our 36th Annual Autumnfest. We will have craft and food vendors, games for kids, entertainment and 5k and 1 mile races plus so much more!

Recreation & Parks - Senior Trips

  1. North Carolina State Fair

    October 21, 7:30 AM - 2:00 PM @ Campbell House Grounds

    Senior Citizens Day will be off to the North Carolina State Fair. The North Carolina State Fair is an annual fair and agricultural exposition held in Raleigh, North Carolina, and organized by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. While seniors ages 65 and over get in free every day of the Fair, on Tuesday, October 21, they can also enjoy a free Bojangles breakfast and entertainment at the Senior Citizen Fun Festival. The event will take place in Dorton Arena from 9 to 11 am. For those under age of 65, you can purchase your ticket in advance or at the gate for $9. Lunch will be purchased inside the Fairgrounds. Min/Max: 16/26. Registration due by October 6. Call 910-692-7376 for availability.

    The Town of Southern Pines Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee will meet on Monday, October 13, 2014, at 4:00 pm at the Southern Pines Police Department Community Room, 450 W. Pennsylvania Avenue, Southern Pines. This meeting is for the committee to discuss elements of the Southern Pines Bike Plan. All interested citizens are invited to attend.

  2. Movie in the Pines
