*Schedule Update

It is wonderful that so many parents and caregivers attend the Southern Pines Public Library Baby Bunnies Storytime and want to encourage a love of learning in their youngest children. Unfortunately, with so many attendees, it is hard for these sessions to be meaningful and safe.

In order to accomplish its goal of successfully modeling ways to engage young learners, the Library will begin having two back-to-back, identical sessions of Baby Bunnies. One will start at 10:30 a.m. and one at 11:15 am. Each session will be limited to 20 babies (birth to 24 months) and their accompanying adults, on a first-come, first-served basis. Older children will not be allowed into the age specific session and but are welcome to attend one of the three other Storytime programs.  These changes will allow staff to provide more and varied activities that better engage parents and caregivers in learning with their babies.

Baby Bunnies will shift to the new schedule on October 18th. Thank you for your patience as these changes take place.
