Outreach Services
In addition to storytimes inside the library, staff visit preschools and childcare centers in Southern Pines on a monthly basis.  Using methods from the  Every Child Ready to Read program, library staff work with students and staff from 14 childcare facilities.  During the 2012-2013 school year, an average of 427 children and 72 adults were seen each month (from August to May).

For more information about outreach services of the library visit the Southern Pines Grows Great Readers page.
