North Carolina Digital Library
Southern Pines Public Library is a part of North Carolina Digital Library (NCDL), a consortium of libraries in North Carolina for digital media. NCDL is a product of Overdrive. If you are interested in eAudiobooks, eBooks, eVideos, or eMusic then check out the NCDL website. NCDL has access to all of the media formats that OverDrive provides. Visit the OverDrive resources website for a list of compatible devices and their usable formats.
In addition, the default checkout period for eAudiobooks in NCDL is 7 days but can be increased to 14 days. The default checkout period for eBooks is 14 days, but can be increased to 21 days. eBooks may be returned early in order to check out more materials, but eAudiobooks may not. Apps for NCDL
Before you start downloading, determine which device you will be using and check out the OverDrive Help page. Additionally, you will want to download the OverDrive Media Console software or app as needed. You will also need to set up an Adobe Digital Editions account before you will be able to check out eBooks.
