Resident Rate Definition


 A "resident" of Southern Pines is a person, whose permanent, primary home is in the town limits of Southern Pines, or who owns property within the town limits of Southern Pines on which the person pays property tax. Non-Resident Membership


A nonresident membership allows all immediate family members residing in your home to pay resident rates for Recreation Department programs, athletics and activities for one year from date of purchase. If you do not live in or own property in the city limits of Southern Pines, you may purchase a nonresident membership for $60 (non-refundable). 
              Note: Non-resident memberships DO NOT APPLY TO RENTALS.

Douglass Community Center

        Mon-Thur.    $35 / 3 hr.        Fri-Sun    $50 / 3 hr.     Additional Hours  $10
    Kitchen available:  $10 usage fee
    Suggested Max Seating:  100       Fire Law:  Max 250 standing Approximately 15 tables, 100 chairs provided

Picnic Shelters - All Parks

               Mon-Sun       $25/ 3 hr.                                                Additional Hours  $10
    Shelter size and seating vary.

Pool Park Performance Stage

:

      $35 for 3 hours     $50 for 3 hours with Power          Additional hours $10
    Not for use as  picnic area; no tables available.  For use as performance stage only.
   

Recreation Center Large Gym

:
     $85 per hour--includes gym supervisor

Recreation Center Small Gym:

     $60 per hour--includes gym supervisor

Athletic Field Rentals:

                      No lights $10 per game or hour     With lights $20 per game or hour

Bleacher Rental:

                                 $25 per bleacher per rental day
